Methods of deodorizing quilts made of different materials
In winter, the quilt that has been stored for less than half a year needs to be taken out. The quilt that has just been taken out will always have a peculiar smell, but it is very troublesome to wash it. It is also a holiday, and not all quilts are suitable for drying, so what should I do? Today I want to share with you the unique tricks of deodorizing quilts made of different materials.
cotton quilt
Cotton quilts are the most common quilts in our lives. Cotton quilts are natural and healthy, comfortable and warm, and the price is very affordable, especially suitable for people with skin allergies. But it is precisely because of its natural nature that cotton quilts are not only attractive, but also easy to attract moths and bacteria, and are the easiest to absorb moisture—those who have cotton quilts at home need to remove the odor frequently.
Method
Please don't throw away the small snacks we usually eat, and the desiccant in the new clothes and shoes we bought. Put them in the folded quilt, and put a few pieces of soap with your favorite flavor. After a few days, the quilt The peculiar smell will be gone~
Remind everyone that the desiccant and soap should be put away layer by layer, and they cannot be piled up randomly. If you have sachets at home, you can also put them in sachets. We usually send a few sachets when we buy new bags. Don't lose it, collect it.

Fiber quilt
Fiber quilts are the cheapest quilts and do not require special maintenance. Fiber quilts are easy to store odors and are prone to mites. Therefore, it is best to expose them to the sun regularly to achieve the effect of antibacterial and dehumidification. But what to do to deodorize the fiber?
Method
If the fiber quilt is stained with a peculiar smell, it is best to wash it carefully. Wash the quilt with neutral detergent or soapy water, then dehydrate it with a washing machine and dry it to eliminate the peculiar smell. The core of the fiber quilt is filled with artificial fibers. It can be cleaned with detergent and soapy water, and the quilt will not be irreversibly damaged.
Silk quilt
Silk is rich in protein, soft and skin-friendly, and not prone to mites. Therefore, silk quilts are the first choice for ladies who love beauty. However, silk quilts will emit a smell after being used for a period of time, and the material of silk quilts is special. Get out in the sun.
Method
Silk cannot be placed under the sun for a long time, otherwise, the ultraviolet rays will make the silk made of protein more and more brittle, and the silk will become less and less warm after exposure. We can put the silk quilt in a cool and ventilated place on a sunny day and let it ventilate. After an hour or two, the peculiar smell on the surface will be removed. This method is the simplest and most effective.

Duvet
Down itself has a relatively strong smell and needs to be dried frequently to deodorize. If it is left alone for a period of time, it will have a relatively strong smell of animal fluff.
Method
There are two ways to eliminate the smell of the duvet. The first is to hang the duvet outside (or on the balcony) in a cool and ventilated place for 2-3 days, and then pat it evenly, and you will find that the odor is gone. The second method is to prepare lemon slices and a watering can, put the lemon slices into the watering can, then pour in an appropriate amount of water, shake vigorously, and a bottle of lemonade is ready. Just take the duvet to a ventilated place and pat it hard a few times, then spray the prepared lemonade on it, and the smell will disappear after a night of drying.
Wool quilts
Wool quilts are thick and warm, made of natural materials, and wool quilts are the most close-fitting quilts. The wool that has been carbonized, washed, and carded will not have any peculiar smell, including the smell of mutton. But it will inevitably have some strange smell after a long time. But wool, like silk, cannot be exposed to the sun.
Method
To deodorize the wool quilt, you need to prepare alcohol, water, a watering can, a brush, and a bamboo charcoal bag. After diluting the alcohol and water at a ratio of 1:1, pour it into the watering can, and then spray it evenly on the wool quilt for sterilization and disinfection. After preliminary disinfection and other alcohol volatilization, sprinkle yellow rice on the wool quilt, then gently pat the quilt, and then brush it with a brush, the floating and sinking bacteria will be absorbed by the yellow rice. After cleaning up the yellow rice, stack the wool quilt neatly, put it in a bamboo charcoal bag, and put it away, the odor will disappear after two days.
